El comisario europeo de Presupuestos visita CEOE
El comisario europeo de Presupuestos y Administración, Johannes Hahn, ha visitado esta mañana CEOE para explicar los ejes del paquete de medidas presupuestarias europeas para la mitigación de los efectos de la crisis del COVID-19 y conocer de primera mano las reacciones, inquietudes y comentarios de las empresas españolas.
La sesión ha tenido lugar en las instalaciones de CEOE en Madrid y además del comisario europeo Johannes Hahn y el senior advisor de la Dirección General de Presupuestos de la Comisión Europea, Siegfried Rhul, han acudido distintos representantes de instituciones financieras y de seguros españolas.
El vicepresidente de CEOE Íñigo Fernández de Mesa ha sido el encargado de recibir a las autoridades europeas y de introducir la sesión y moderar la ronda de preguntas.
Con esta visita, CEOE cumple con su propósito de acercar a las empresas españolas a las instituciones europeas y velar por sus intereses, trasladando las preocupaciones de los distintos sectores a las autoridades comunitarias.
El encuentro ha servido asimismo para estrechar la colaboración directa con la Comisión Europea, para hacer hincapié en el seguimiento de la utilización de los fondos europeos y de sus necesarias reformas estructurales asociadas, y explicar las fórmulas de financiación justa que se están utilizando para dotar de medios este paquete de medidas.
