CEOE Internacional participates in the US-led Ministerial Forum on Supply Chains
On 19 July, CEOE International participated in the US-led Ministerial Forum 2022 on global supply chain resilience.

The forum, which took place virtually on 19 and 20 July, was chaired by the US Secretary of State, Antony J. Blinken, and Commerce Secretary, Gina Raimondo. The keynote address and welcome to participants was given by U.S. Under Secretary for Economic Growth, Energy and Environment José W. Fernández, and the Under Secretary of Commerce for International Trade, Marisa Lago.
The event brought together various stakeholders, including representatives of the private sector, labour and civil society, in order to identify solutions to reduce bottlenecks in the short term and, in the longer term, to reduce global supply chain challenges.
The working session on 19 July, at which CEOE International participated, was organised into four separate roundtables, focusing on the response to the current supply chain crisis and how to address future challenges; investment-friendly environments to diversify supply chains; innovation to tackle bottlenecks in transport and logistics; and how to address labour abuses as well as workers’ development.
