THE VICE-PRESIDENT OF CEOE, JOAQUIM GAY DE MONTELLÀ, CO-PRESIDES THE MENA-OECD BUSINESS ADVISORY COUNCIL

Within the framework of the initiative of Governance and Competitiveness for Development of the MENA-OECD Region

The vice president of CEOE and president of the International Relations Commission, Joaquim Gay de Montellà, and the director of the President’s Cabinet and head of the International and Institutional Relations Department at CEOE, Narciso Casado, travelled to Paris to participate in the meeting of the steering group in charge of the initiative on Governance and Competitiveness for the Development of the MENA-OECD Region, in which Joaquín Gay de Montellà is co-president of the newly formed Business Advisory Council.

The vice-president of CEOE participated in two of the meeting’s sessions: on the one hand "Reforms: Building Competitive Economies" and, on the other, the Break-Out Session of the Competitiveness Program: Presentation of the Business Advisory Council. The meetings were attended by close to 100 representatives from the governments of the OECD and MENA countries and by business organizations and experts in the Region.
