Tejeda emphasized that Dual Vocational Training should not be a different Vocational Training Programme, but rather another modality within the current VT scheme, in which the student will ultimately get the same degree, be it an intermediate or advanced level degree, as the one obtained in the "non-dual" option; however, the student pursues his or her training both, at the training centre and in companies, which will undoubtedly contribute to a greater connection between the business community and the educational field.
