Seville’s Employers Confederation (ces) and Seville’s Regional Council (Diputación de Sevilla) celebrated “Forty years of business organizations”

On its anniversary, Seville’s Employer’s Confederation – CES - paid tribute to Seville’s sector organizations, which were also founded in 1977, as well as to the CEOE, CEPYME, trade unions CCOO and UGT and the Chamber of Commerce.

Seville’s Employers Confederation (CES), in collaboration with Seville’s Regional Council (Diputación de Sevilla), through Prodetur, celebrated the event “Forty years of business organizations in Seville” where express tribute was made to the sector associations founded, like the CES, in 1977. In this commemorative business meeting, CEOE and CEPYME were also honoured, as well as trade unions CCOO and UGT and the Chamber of Commerce, for the work undertaken throughout these years in the consolidation of democracy and the promotion of social dialogue.

The event, presided by the presidents of the Diputación and the CES, Fernando Rodríguez Villalobos and Miguel Rus Palacios, respectively, was attended by the presidents of CEA, CEOE and CEPYME, Javier González de Lara, Juan Rosell and Antonio Garamendi, respectively, as well as by top representatives from the organizations and associations who received the awards (GAESCO, Advertising, APROCOM, Hospitality, Hotels, FEICASE, APROFASE, Private Clinics, FEDEME, ASATRANS and AETRANS), the regional secretaries of UGT and CCOO, Juan Bautista Ginés and Alfonso Vidán, and the president of the Chamber of Commerce of Seville, Francisco Herrero.
