Juan Rosell, Rebeca Grynspan and Fernando García Casas meet with CAF’s executive President, Luis Carranza

During a business meeting to analyse challenges faced in Latin America.

The President of CEOE, Juan Rosell; the Ibero-American General Secretary, Rebeca Grynspan; and the Secretary of State for International Cooperation for Latin America and the Caribbean, Fernando García Casas; met at the headquarters of CEOE with the CEO of CAF (Latin American development bank) in a business meeting attended by 250 companies, in order to analyse the challenges present in the region. During the meeting, all of them expressed being in favour of adopting a pact for productivity in Latin America, as well as fostering the implementation of structural reforms to consolidate economic growth and strengthen social development in the area.

The president of CEOE, Juan Rosell, said that there are already almost 5,000 Spanish subsidiaries operating in Latin America, with investment having reached €124.7 billion in 2015. Rosell pointed out that, in turn, Ibero-American companies are increasingly choosing to invest in Europe, and Spain could be an excellent gateway to this market. The president of CEOE insisted on the need to carry out structural reforms in Latin America to enable the improvement of institutions and a reduction in legislation.
