Juan Pablo Lázaro calls for progress in reforms and low taxes as a way to boost the economy and employment

The president of CEIM Employers Confederation of Madrid-CEOE, Juan Pablo Lázaro, valued the labour reform of 2012 positively for giving flexibility to the employing companies, thus enabling the maintenance of existing employment and the creation of new jobs. However, given the changing environment, he pointed out the need to continue moving forwards with reforms, which should bring along a low taxation policy that favours business activities, and allows for an increase in resources. He also said that the challenge of digitalisation must be tackled as a mechanism to strengthen and boost the productivity and competitiveness of companies.
