Juan Pablo Lázaro stressed that the world is going through a time of change that is not cyclical, it has become structural and traditional ways are hardly useful anymore. He highlighted that there are four factors that particularly influence the economy. On the one hand, the financial crisis that has brought a series of disadvantages such as the emergence of a trade war; the extreme ideologies we witnessed in Europe, in Italy or in France with Le Pen; the Brexit or, even, the situation in Catalonia.

Another factor that affects the current economy is the emergence of developing countries such as China or India, whose conception of economic activity is here to stay. A third factor would be the technological revolution that has managed to change everything and that enables knowing about client tastes, the job of "influencers", the advantages and risks of robots and understanding that "no one walks alone" as read at Liverpool’s football stadium.
