This announcement took place today during a meeting organized by CEOE and CEPYME within the framework of the celebrations of Iberia’s 90th anniversary. The catalogue value of this order is $ 1.84 billion, with IAG having negotiated a significant reduction.

This order is additional to the renewal of the long-haul fleet that Iberia launched in 2013 and which entails the incorporation of 36 new aircraft until 2021, among which there are 16 new generation A350-900 that will be received from next year. The new A320neo stand out for a reduction of fuel consumption, low levels of emissions and noise. The A350-900, meanwhile, combine maximum comfort for the customer with maximum operating efficiency.

On the other hand, Luis Gallego also made public the start date of the new Puente Aéreo (Madrid-Barcelona route). From July 19, the company's customers will be able to enjoy new advantages, added to the ones already in effect.
