A broad and deep agreement

The vice president of CEOE and president of CEPYME stressed that after the political change in Argentina and the reorientation of Brazilian trade policy towards the European Union, negotiations have seen a new boost, a fact that the parties should take advantage of to reach a broad and deep agreement. In fact, Garamendi stressed that CEOE and BUSINESSEUROPE have always defended the trade agreement with MERCOSUR. He explained that "it is not only a question of eliminating a large part of the tariffs, but also of agreeing on substantial chapters for companies, such as investments, services, public procurement or intellectual property, among others."
