This Agreement, which has had the full support of CEOE and BUSINESSEUROPE during the seven years of negotiations between the European Union and Canada, will help boost investment and trade between Spain and Canada.

The provisional entry into force of the Agreement implies the immediate implementation of much of the text and the most relevant chapters of the Agreement, which stipulate, inter alia, improved market access conditions for goods, services, investments and public procurement.

CEOE encourages Spanish companies to obtain the status of Authorized Economic Operator to be able to benefit from the trade preferences included in this important Agreement.
