CEOE SEES JUNE’S DROP IN UNEMPLOYMENT AS POSITIVE

The federation says that a strong push is necessary to reach pre-crisis employment levels

Registered unemployment, according to data released by the Ministry of Labour, Migrations and the Social Security today, dropped by 89,968 people in June. This decrease is positive news, in line with the good behaviour usually shown by the labour market during the summer season, typically resulting in overall decreases in all activity sectors and territories, according to CEOE.   However, they warn that this is a lower decrease that the number usually posted for this month since 2011.
