CEOE FORMACIÓN (THE TRAINING DEPARTMENT) HELD AN EVENT ON THE INTERNATIONALIZATION OF COMPANIES IN MOROCCO

Participants met with the Spanish Embassy in Casablanca, the office of ICEX (Spanish Institute of Foreign Trade) in Rabat and the Moroccan employers’ association, CGEM.

CEOE held a networking event last week, included in the Training Program for the Internationalization of Spanish Companies in Morocco, in Casablanca and Rabat. In this context, the participating companies met with the Spanish Embassy in Casablanca, the ICEX office in Rabat and with the General Confederation of Moroccan Companies, CGEM.

The program was born with the aim of helping companies, especially SMEs, interested in internationalizing their activity to Morocco to do so successfully, by providing them with the appropriate knowledge and tools that will enable them to know the country better, contact the agencies that can provide support to their companies and advise them in their internationalization process to access the Moroccan market.

The differentiating element of this Training Program for the Internationalization of Spanish Companies in Morocco that the participating companies value the most is the collaboration offered by the embassies and the economic and commercial offices of both countries.

The program’s training team, under the leadership of Ignacio de Alvear, include Javier Iscar, president of the Hispano-Moroccan Court of Arbitration, José Ignacio García Muniozguren, director of the [Law Firm] Garrigues in Morocco or Miguel Guerrero, partner at the [Law Firm] Guerrero Acosta Abogados, among others.

This Third Edition of the Training Program for the Internationalization of Spanish Companies in Morocco, which began on March 1, will close on May 10 at CEOE. And work is already underway with the planning and coordination of the IV Edition that will take place at the end of the year.
