CEOE and the Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture of Panama (CCIAP) sign a collaboration agreement

The meeting was opened by the Vice-president of CEOE, Joaquim Gay de Montellà, the President of CCIAP, Inocencio Galindo and the Ambassador of Spain, Ramón Santos.

The vice president of CEOE and President of the International Relations Commission, Joaquín Gay de Montellà and the president of the Chamber of Commerce, Industries and Agriculture of Panama (CCIAP), signed a collaboration agreement between both institutions, at the start of the Spain –Panama Business Meeting, which was held yesterday within the framework of the visit that a CEOE business delegation is undertaking in the Central American country. After the meeting, they visited the Panama Canal, where they held a meeting with the minister, Roberto Roy and other personalities present.

CEOE-CCIAP collaboration agreement

The cooperation agreement signed between CEOE and CCIAP hopes to develop joint projects and activities, aimed at promoting and fostering economic relations between Spain and Panama. In this regard, they agreed to identify and coordinate future projects of collaboration in the economic, labour, entrepreneurship and SME environments; organize joint business meetings; or invite CCIAP to participate in the “II Iberoamerican mipyme (mySME) Forum”, to be organized by CEOE and the Ibero-American General Secretariat.

Following the signing of the agreement, CEOE’s vice-president, Joaquim Gay de Montellà, the president of CCIAP, Inocencio Galindo, and the ambassador of Spain to the Latin American country, Ramón Santos, inaugurated the Spain-Panama Business Meeting to analyse the existing business opportunities for Spanish companies with interests in the region.
