The president of CEOE, Juan Rosell, and the president of International Transparency Spain, Jesús Lizcano, today signed an agreement of collaboration between both organizations

Meanwhile, International Transparency Spain “agrees to collaborate with CEOE in the implementation of the effective compliance of the duties taken on by the latter in transparency matters”.

Under this agreement, CEOE will provide “clear and understandable advertising” about this institution and its administrative structure; the economic, accounting and budget management; the public Contracts and Agreements; the public subsidies received; information on CEOE’s directors and staff and CEOE’s model of Regulatory Compliance.  The business organization is also working on the “promotion of transparency and integrity among its Associated Business Organizations”.

Along this same line, International Transparency Spain agrees to “advice CEOE in the design of transparency programs, accountability and good governance in the areas in which the organization operates.  “This advice will be given through participation in business meetings called for this specific purpose” as set forth in the Agreement of Collaboration signed today.

A Commission will be established to guarantee compliance with the transparency commitments.  It will be made up of two representatives from each institution.
