Boost to foster business modernization and internationalization

During the signing of the agreement, Jordi Gual, president of CaixaBank, stressed that "to improve the competitiveness of the Spanish economy, companies must have access to credit lines to finance their sales and their investments in the medium and long term, as well as to access new national and international markets".

Gual underlined that “CaixaBank has a privileged position to offer specialized, high quality and very close customer service through its 116 business centres distributed throughout the autonomous regions and its 1,245 account managers and staff specialized in company needs".

Meanwhile, Juan Rosell highlighted that “the agreement enables companies to grow, innovate, create jobs, undertake new projects and internationalize. Hence the importance of the financing lines offered: on the one hand, the line for entrepreneurial initiatives, which helps in the initial stages of a project; on the other hand, for innovation and internationalization. The latter are essential to reinforce areas such as opening new markets and expanding R + D + i, so that companies may be able to increase their competitiveness".

In addition, the agreement will keep on expanding throughout the network of business organizations. CEOE has 220 sector and territorial organizations (168 sector and 52 territorial). Through them, it brings together and represents more than 4,000 base organizations. “Because of all of this, - Rosell said- we are able to reach a significant number of companies”.
