ANNOUNCEMENT REGARDING CURRENT NEGOTIATIONS ON EMPLOYMENT AND COLLECTIVE BARGAINING AGREEMENTS (AENC)

CEOE and CEPYME have analysed their stance ahead of the upcoming negotiations on employment and collective bargaining agreement, reaching the following conclusions:

1.- CEOE and CEPYME express their maximum willingness to reach an agreement with trade unions UGT and CC OO for an employment and collective bargaining agreement expanding over no less than two years.

2.- The deadline for negotiation is set at the end of March.

3.- The agreement should not be limited to a negotiation of the salary tranches, but should also cover those issues related to productivity that CEOE and CEPYME believe are essential for improving the competitiveness of companies.

4.- CEOE and CEPYME will provide at the next meeting a list of those issues they consider necessary for the improvement of the competitiveness of companies, albeit many of them were already raised on previous negotiating tables (absenteeism, flexibility in the working day, hiring ...)

5.- CEOE and CEPYME have already informed the unions that their salary proposal will be in line with last year's proposal, although granting a special importance to the variable part. The actual figures will be specified as the negotiation progresses.
